Setting Expectations

At the end of this course, the trainee should be able to :-

  • Write, compile, debug and execute Object-Oriented Java applications using Sun Microsystems’ Java Developer Kit (JDK) version 1.3.x.
  • Use the rich set of utility classes provided by the Java run-time Application Programming Interface (API) to work with objects such as Strings, Collection classes and System resources.
  • Learn how to use Exception Handling to segregate procedural code from error-detecting and error-handling routines.
  • Employ multi-threading to support concurrent processing.
